The cost of garden design is typically around 10-15% of the total project cost, with additional expenses for plants and project management.
The overall cost of a garden are influenced by factors like size, access, material selection, site complexity and percentage of hard landscape vs soft. The cost of landscaping generally falls between £250–£350 per square metre.

The timeline for designing and building a garden varies depending on its size and complexity. The design process alone typically takes 1-3 months, allowing time for consultations, concept development, revisions, and final plans.
Once the design is complete, the construction phase can take anywhere from 6 to 18 weeks, but can extend significantly depending on factors such as the scope of work, materials, and weather conditions. In many cases, elements of the design phase, such as sourcing materials or finalising planting plans, can overlap with the build, helping to streamline the process.
