About

We are a family business combining over two decades of expertise with a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Led by award winning garden designer Selina Botham and her son, Henry Botham - we design gardens that feel natural, balanced, and in tune with the land, ensuring they grow more beautiful with time.

At Designs for all Seasons, our philosophy centres on creating gardens that connect people with nature, enhancing both their physical and mental well-being.

We believe gardens are more than just outdoor spaces—they are an extension of the home, providing a sanctuary where people can unwind, reflect, and thrive.

We value using your garden throughout the year, designing spaces that allow you to engage with the changing seasons and observe nature’s ever-evolving beauty. Our designs are built with sustainability in mind, using local materials and native planting to improve biodiversity and foster harmony with the environment.

Each garden is a unique journey, carefully crafted to reflect our clients' personalities, lifestyles, and the natural world around them. Above all, our gardens aim to improve quality of life, helping our clients cultivate deeper connections with their outdoor spaces, all year round.

Meet the Team

Selina and Henry are a mother-and-son team combining two decades of experience in garden design and landscape architecture. Selina founded Designs for all Seasons in 2007, bringing years of experience in designing bespoke outdoor spaces and building strong client relationships.

  • Henry joined the business in 2023, bringing a background in landscape architecture, garden design, and hands-on craftsmanship. With experience ranging from high-end public realm projects to community-focused schemes, he blends creativity with technical know-how to design gardens that are immersive, personal, and deeply connected to their surroundings.

Passionate about nature’s role in wellbeing, Henry creates spaces that offer privacy, tranquillity, and interaction—whether through sensory planting, wildlife-friendly features, or edible gardens. Sustainability is central to his approach, using local materials and native planting to craft gardens that feel both harmonious and enduring.

  • Selina founded Designs for All Seasons in 2007, following an early career in project management. Driven by a lifelong love of nature and creativity, she retrained as a garden designer and quickly gained recognition, winning awards at Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival in 2008 and 2014.

Since then, Selina has designed gardens ranging from intimate urban spaces to sweeping country landscapes. Known for her keen eye for detail and warm, collaborative approach, she creates outdoor spaces that are beautiful, functional, and deeply connected to each client’s lifestyle. Sustainability, seasonal planting, and the seamless relationship between home and garden are at the heart of her designs, which aim to bring joy, tranquillity, and a true sense of wellbeing.
